Glen Ballard Talks About Production
I've been meaning to write this post since the first MF Social event put on by Doña Amelia which featured "Second Hand Sureshots" by Stones Throw which followed 4 producers as they came up with beats from records they found in thrift stores.
I thought this would be far too geeky for most people but talking to people afterwards the screening, I found that most people found the process of making music fascinating and informative. Whether you make music or not, electronic or otherwise the clips I found here might provide some interesting viewing.
